Best Movies of 2007
I haven’t seen any of the movies in this clip. I joined a movie club and intend on seeing a movie once a month next year. Well-made movies can stand for something, are thought provoking, or can act as an escape – much like books. What is your favorite movie for 2007?
I saw American Gangster , 3:10 to Yuma and Rescue Dawn. I liked American Gangster the best. Denzel Washington is one of the best actors of his generation IMO. I also enjoyed Russell Crowe’s performance in American Gangster and Yuma.
I watched “Gone Baby Gone” Last night, and it was excellent! I would say it was the best movie of 2007. Casey Affleck was outstanding! Ben did an awesome job directing it.
I have never of it. On your recommendation, I’ll order it from Netflix.
Hey Auria, I just followed the link from a rep point at AW and got all caught up in you blog.
I’ve seen all these movies except for Michael Clayton and Gone Baby, Gone. All good movies, but No Country for Old Men and Eastern Promises were my favorites from this list.

Thanks for stopping by, Voyager. Come back as often as you like.
“Breaking and Entering” is a 2007 movie I viewed recently from Netflix. I discovered it by looking up my favorite actors’ films. Jude Law, Robin Wright Penn, and Juliette Binoche are amazing in this movie. I felt as if I’d read the book ( I don’t think there is one ) after watching it. The female characters are so multi-layered and wonderfully acted that you feel as if you’ve delved into their psyche. I started watching the movie with my husband and could not get into it at first because his boredom was palpable (we tend to watch thrillers and comedies together). The next day, I watched it alone and was overwhelmed with emotion at the end- I was glad I was alone. I highly recommend this deeply, thought provoking film.
