I discovered it by looking up my favorite actors' films. Jude Law, Robin Wright Penn, and Juliette Binoche are amazing in this movie. I felt as if I'd read the book ( I don't think there is one ) after watching it. The female characters are so multi-layered and wonderfully acted that you feel as if you've delved into their psyche. I started watching the movie with my husband and could not get into it at first because his boredom was palpable (we tend to watch thrillers and comedies together). The next day, I watched it alone and was overwhelmed with emotion at the end- I was glad I was alone. I liked American Gangster the best. Denzel Washington is one of the best actors of his generation IMO. I also enjoyed Russell Crowe's performance in American Gangster and Yuma.
