Okay, regular visitors now it’s your turn. Answer the question in the comment section.
Have you ever played a practical joke on anyone? If so, what did you do and who was your victim?
This is exactly how it went down. One night Bunny and I were bored. To alleviate the boredom, I suggested we drive through town and collect furniture that people outside of their homes. Once the furniture was collected, we dumped it all on our friend Debbie’s driveway. We then created signs that read “Garage Sale at (and we included her address).”The next morning, Debbie finds the furniture in her driveway and is obviously not very happy. While she was talking with her husband about who could have done this, people from the neighborhood began to arrive for the garage sale.
Because the joke was so perfectly planned, she knew I had something to do with it. So she took it all in stride. She sold what she could and left the rest for garbage pick up.

Happy New Year! Tonight at the stroke of midnight, be sure to eat twelve grapes. Each grape represents a month for the New Year. The first grape represents January, the second grape represents February, and so on. If you eat a sour grape that means that month will be troublesome for you. To bring good luck for the upcoming year, sprinkle sugar outside. A pinch will do. Also, be sure to throw a bucket of water out of your window to drive out the old and bring in the New Year with a fresh start.
I’m hosting New Year’s. I bought my home a few months ago and don’t have enough seating. In fact, I have zero furniture. So I’m starting another Puerto Rican tradition, a BYOC party.BYOC = Bring your own chair.
Tonight my brother is coming into town with his family. Though he’s staying with his in-laws, not me, I am required by Puerto Rican law to go to the airport for a meet-and-greet.
I’m not sure how this tradition evolved. All I know is if you go to the airport when a flight from Puerto Rico is due to arrive, you will find the nuclear family as well as the extended family in tow to welcome the person arriving to town. My brother is from Florida, but this tradition still applies.
The round trip drive to the airport will be an hour and a half. The wait at the airport around thirty minutes. The meet-and-greet five minutes.
