Conversation Thursday: Crybaby Linda

(Linda on the couch, watching TV, and hysterically crying. Ex stands at the doorway.) 

Ex: What are you watching?
Linda: Of Mice and Men.
Ex: What part is playing?
Linda: The opening credits.
Ex: Opening credits? Why are you crying?
Linda: I read the book. I know what is going to happen.  
(Ex leaves)

    I would have left also, but l would be LMAO…. What is going through your mind when your crying because you know whats going to happen… I dont know what to say except, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA

    OMG, I’m tearing up just READING—read the play and watched the dramatic “Tell me more…” scene at least 100 times via Drama class. Waaaaaaaaa
    (and Doug, I paused years ago! Like you don’t cry when the theme from BrokeBack Mt. plays-HA!)
