Our first date movie was Aliens, I laughed all the way through (almost was attacked by a vicious sci-fi crowd), we later saw Jaws, I was on edge of my seat—date laughed all the way through, 28yrs later we are still a couple; we do suck it up though. (Stop) Viva La Difference!

It could be a movie he picked out at Blockbuster, but I would somehow still get the ridicule if it was awful. I dont even have to necessarily be there for the trip to get the blame. One day, he made the horrible mistake of taking a buzzer to his head, called me to try to come and fix HIS disaster, I tried, but he had gone long past the point of quick fix…so he called his barber nephew to make an emergency run over to the house, and wouldnt you know…CAMI jacked my head up….WHAT???!!!! Take the blame himself…how utterly ridiculous.

I haven’t been to BlockBuster forever, but this reminded me of a funny experience I had there. First, I asked for an unrated director’s cut of a movie and the employee acted like I was asking for a porno and vehemently told me that BlockBuster doesn’t carry those kind of movies. Then, when I tried to checkout an R movie, they told me I wasn’t allowed due to a ban on my account of R rated movies. I was over 18 and they didn’t know why it said that, but looked at me like I was some weird pervert! My boyfriend, now husband, was with me and thought it was hysterical. This could have been 2 separate visits, but in my memory, it was all in one. Ha!
