Let me get this straight…

Published by auria cortes at 3:50 pm under Obama 2008

instead of Palin talking like a preschooler (as she did in the Couric interview) during the VP debate, she spoke like a first grader. So the brilliant analysts and reporters call that a success.

 Yeah, in what world?

In a sexist world.

A man would never been given a pass if he performed as Palin did.

Another thing that ticked me about her in the debate would be when asked a direct question by the mod, she’d give a one word answer and then steer it to a topic she “liked better” (Side note: and by “liked better” I mean “had been coached on what to say”)

She’s annoying. I was listening to the governor debates. Palin was impressed by all the information and knowledge her opponent possessed but wondered aloud “does that really matter.”

But here’s the bottomline: she was chosen to attract one of the lowest denominators in America. And “joe six pack” doesn’t really care about the facts.

It’s the white verision of “keeping it real.”

    Sicking.

Thing is, graduating from preschooler to first grader was actually a surprise, so yeah, I actually had to give her props for doing at least better than falling on her face. But, my God … an old dude with a foot in the grave leaving us with President Palin? Scares the fuck out of me. Fortunately I think things will go my way, where I’ll be happy with the black dude, and if he for whatever reason kicks it however untimely, I’d be nearly as happy with his backup. I hope this Palin choice completely backfires on McCain, I think it just might. Fingers crossed.

“graduating from preschooler to first grader was actually a surprise”

To quote Bill Maher “soft bigotry of low expectations”
