Great quote. I’m starting to consider fiction for my story…

Diane, do you mean turning your nonfiction into fiction?

Part of my book has elements of truths, but 95% is fiction.

I rather do something worth writing about. But I do not know where to start.

sunshine, I’ve always wanted someone to produce a show where the lives of regular folks, like us, is shown in a documentary style. All of us live a life worth telling - a life worth hearing about.

Yes, I was worried it was too unbelievable to be anything but silly fiction; but as I go, the characters are so…rich, that maybe it could be believable fiction. (That is the weirdest thing I’ve ever said.) The story will be 99% true…but I could fill in blanks with some closure…oh, heck, I’m talking myself out of it now…I go back and forth. AND, I think I am actually outlining my story, since I am pushing to do 70 days.

Since it’s 99% true, it seems that you can easily change the 1% should you change your mind down the road.

I realize you aren’t writing a memoir, but since many memorists have lied about the truthfulness of their life story many agents and publishers are skeptical of publishing “true life accounts.” But of course, if many of the facts can be proven, then it’s not an issue.
