I have gotten myself into heated debates over the demise of the book as we have known it (Go figure), and I say: like it or not paper made books are doomed. Did I grow up with the fantasy of someone holding MY book in their hands, on a park bench or at the beach? Sure. But, as humans live longer, use technology for all they can imagine, well, one day people will wonder how we managed with books. They will read more, know more, write more, and do it fast. Our books will be like cave wall carvings to them. 1,000 books will be held in one hand. I debated this, was cursed, laughed at, and now ten years later Kindle. Baby stage. I am 51, I am ok with a kindle.
My home was once wall to wall books. I could never get enough, soon I will have all I can imagine.
