Auria is my little sister's first name. Cortes is my mother's last name. Since I have a book published under my real name Linda _____ - yes, my last name really is ____ :-) - I decided to use a pen name for my creative nonfiction and fiction work. So, Auria is me the writer, not a character per se. In essence, Auria and Linda are the same person. What I write as Linda _______ is practical nonfiction. In the past, I made a reference of my desire to write true crime - which is where I'm assuming the mix up is. I have a post planned regarding true crime writing and expect to have it up on Tuesday.
