Seventy Days of Sweat Writing Challenge
Did you miss NaNoWriMo? Well, try the Seventy Day Sweat Writing Challenge where you write a novel in, yep you guessed it, seventy days. I signed up because the challenge is open to stalled WIPs. And Mija is well, stalled.
I wish I’d joined up with nin90—novel in 90, looking for a complete work (The End) in 90 days.
But since I’m looking to hit serious blogging this year, I think the best I could do is Club 100 (every day, write at least 100 words; no “makeup” days). I’m there, but have fallen off the wagon ever since the bloggity started.
Club 100 is one that I will keep in mind after I finish the first draft of Mija. Right now, I’m almost sort of not working at all (in my business) so I can knock out Mija. Once I finish the first draft I will get back to working a regular schedule. Club 100 will fit in perfectly at that time.
If I could type with ten fingers, I could easily type 1,000 words a day of story. I have a question: How long is too long to wait to hear from a publisher? They say not to contact them to ask, “Well?” and that, “It takes a long time.” They sent a repl email that they goy my story, but that was it, almost a year now…and since I agreed they had first rights…I’m not used to this by email stuff.
Diane, that’s an important question that I’ll write a post about it. Look for it in the next few days.
So…you joining the Seventy Day challenge?
Now I’m confused, I was emailed “I’m signing you up.” With different url—help.

Nevermind. Game on.
