Diane, I have someone on staff to make sure I do things outside the box. It's the only way to grow personally and professionally. And then I spread the love to others. :-)

"Does not knowing L&R affect your sense of direction?"

Yes. I usually get lost.

I like them both, but the Y one with more color caught my eye first. The woman/tree connection makes me think of the last book in Chronicles of Narnia with the talking trees and dryads. Cool art concept.

Does not knowing L&R affect your sense of direction? I used to be "spatially challenged" and now I visualize things spatially. I think it has to do with a left brain/right brain thing. I used to be very left-brain thinking, and I now think I'm more right-brain.

Oh Erika! The horror I made out of my unfinished guitar. Goodness. I'll take a picture of the unpleasantness. It can however be fixed. ((crosses fingers))

I have flower closeups. I'll post them next week for my first Wordless Wednesday. Can't wait to see yours.

Here's another fun fact about me: I don't know my left from my right. So I don't know which picture you like. LOL

I have more tree trunks. One looks like a man with his parts chopped off. When I get around to the sketch woman paintings, I'll post the picture beside the painting. Keep in mind, that the paintings are not going to be a direct translation, but rather an inspiration.

Rain, I haven't received the pics.

Oooh, I really like the one on the left! I'm not professionally trained in photography (beyond a high school class developing film) but I feel I have a good eye for composition. I like to take close-up flower pics that I make look like abstract art or something celestial. I usually don't edit my shots, but I have a computer program I'd like to experiment with more. I took a picture of a mottled apple in front of an electric blue background and it came out looking like an immpressionistic watercolor painting- I was so happy that what I saw translated into the photo. You seem to have a natural eye for art- I also liked your unfinished Guitar painting a lot.
