Which Way Is the Right Way?

direction.JPG

My writing is coming along. I like the new direction I’m taking. Actually, “like” isn’t a strong enough word. I LOVE the new direction. However, I have a sneaky suspicion those who have read parts of the novel so far will wonder aloud why I decided to make the change. The best answer I can come up with is because “it feels right.” I’m crossing my fingers that it will “read right.”

    New Linda,
Thank you for inspiring me too! I’m happy to report I’ve started working on my novel again. I’ve been distracted lately and couldn’t really concentrate. I went and reread the first few chapters and I’m very pleased. I’ll keep you updated on my progress.

yes, please keep me updated on your progress. it’s truly exciting hearing about the success of others. since you already completed one book, you know you have it in you.

Sometimes a direction change isn’t a change at all. Sometimes it’s the story forcing you go the direction it originally intended.
